Treatment of angiomas & superficial veins

Fotona SP Dynamis Laser — Vascular ND:YAG

The treatment of angiomas and superficial veins with Fotona SP Dynamis uses vascular Nd:YAG technology to precisely target abnormal blood vessels located on the surface of the skin.

The laser selectively heats these vessels to cause them to gradually close, which reduces or eliminates angiomas, small visible veins, and superficial vascular lesions.

This treatment is safe, fast, and effective in improving skin tone uniformity and overall appearance.

Treated area

The laser can be applied to all areas where angiomas or superficial veins are visible:
  • Face (cheeks, nose, chin, temples)

  • Nose wings

  • Lips (ruby angiomas)

  • Neck

  • Cleavage

  • Hands

  • Body (ruby angiomas, stellate angiomas)

Treatment process

The Nd:YAG laser is applied in pulses targeted at visible vessels or angiomas. It works by:
  • heating the vessel or angioma,

  • causing its gradual closure or resorption,

  • reducing the red, bluish or purplish color,

  • improving skin tone uniformity.

Angiomas may clear up immediately or within a few days, depending on their depth.
